Earle Donahue, Minneapolis, won the World Professional Championship three times. In 1928, 1929, and 1931 and he tied it in 1930. He won the professional high average in 1928 with a .9777, in 1929 with a .9850 and in 1931 with a .9842. In 1932, the year before he passed away at the early age of 33, he ranked second among pros with a .9808. Earle won the Minnesota State Professional Championship in 1931 and in 1932, each time with 200 straight.
