Jim Dickey

Jim Dickey, Minneapolis, shot top scores for over 40 years.  When he lived in Iowa, he won the Western Diamond Medal Handicap at Ft. Dodge in 1921.  The Dupont Company hired him the following year and he moved to Minneapolis.  He shot as a pro until 1928, then became an amateur.  Jim's peak year was 1929.  That year he became the first Minnesota shooter to break 200 straight at the Minneapolis Gun Club, won the state championship and high average.  Mr. Dickey raised a shootin' family.  Bob, Jim, and Rex are with Remington Arms and Ted is a retired Army major.
